Child fares are for ages 6 to 11. From age 12, the adult fare applies. Age is counted on the date the exchange order is issued or the pass is bought.
The same price applies whether you buy overseas or in Japan.

- JR Shikoku trains on three sections: the Yosan Line between Takamatsu and Kan-onji, the Kotoku Line between Takamatsu and Hiketa, and the Dosan Line between Tadotsu and Kotohira
- Limited express, rapid and local trains on those sections, in non-reserved seats in regular cars
- All Takamatsu-Kotohira Electric Railroad (Kotoden) lines
- The Shodoshima Ferry between Takamatsu and Tonosho on Shodoshima
- The Shodoshima Olive Bus
- Reserved seats, and any seats outside regular cars
- The Sunrise Seto
- JR Shikoku lines outside the three sections above
- Shodoshima Ferry high-speed boats, and ferry routes other than Takamatsu to Tonosho

How to use it
The pass is valid for 2 days. The start date can't be changed once it is set. The validity isn't extended if trains are delayed or cancelled.
Automatic ticket gates don't accept the pass. Show the front of the ticket to station staff at the gate, or to the conductor when asked. Carry your passport while you use it, since the pass isn't valid without it. The pass is for the named holder only.
Before you buy
The pass is for holders of a non-Japanese passport who enter Japan as a Temporary Visitor. Staff check your passport for the short-stay status when you buy or exchange it.
Outside Japan, travel agencies such as JTB, Nippon Travel Agency, KNT-CT Holdings, Tobu Top Tours and JALPAK sell an exchange order, valid for three months from purchase. Exchange it in Takamatsu at the JR Shikoku Tour Takamatsu Branch, on the 3rd floor of Takamatsu Orne next to JR Takamatsu Station, or at the Takamatsu Station ticket office outside its hours. In Japan you buy the pass at the same two places.
Refunds: an unused pass can be refunded up to the day before its start date, minus a ¥660 fee, where you bought or exchanged it. An exchange order is refunded within one year by the agency that issued it, under its own fee. There are no refunds once you start using the pass, and a lost or stolen pass is not reissued.
Questions
Does the Kagawa Mini Rail & Ferry Pass cover the ferry to Shodoshima?
Yes, the Shodoshima Ferry between Takamatsu and Tonosho. High-speed boats and other ferry routes are not covered.
Can I get to Kotohira with it?
Yes. JR trains on the Dosan Line between Tadotsu and Kotohira are covered, and so are all Kotoden lines.
Does it cover buses on Shodoshima?
Yes, the Shodoshima Olive Bus. Other bus lines are not covered.
Can I reserve seats with it?
No. The pass covers non-reserved seats in regular cars on JR Shikoku trains.
Do children need their own pass?
Children aged 6 to 11 need a child pass, which costs ¥3,000.
Who can buy it?
Holders of a non-Japanese passport who enter Japan as a Temporary Visitor.
