Nagano Prefecture is set to host one of its largest outdoor anime song festivals, the Nagano Aniera Festa 2026, this September at Komaba Park in Saku City. The two-day festival brings together the vibrant world of anime culture with the natural beauty, cuisine, and regional culture of Shinshu.

A Celebration of Anime, Music, and Local Culture

Since its debut in 2017, Nagano Aniera Festa has offered fans an open and immersive experience, featuring live performances by anime song artists and voice actors, as well as booths showcasing Shinshu’s local food, sake, and culture. Visitors can enjoy a festival environment where they are free to explore and experience anime culture with all their senses, set amidst the scenic outdoors of Nagano.

Shinshu, the traditional name for Nagano Prefecture, is known for a rich culture shaped by its mountains, climate, and long history. The region is famous for its deep connection to nature, traditional crafts, historic temples and castles, and a strong agricultural heritage. Shinshu is also known for its hot springs, seasonal festivals, and welcoming rural communities, offering a blend of tradition, craftsmanship, and natural beauty.

ANIERA, a specialty store focused on anime and Japanese pop culture merchandise, is at the heart of the festival’s concept, helping connect fans with their favourite works and creators.

Further details about performers, tickets, and schedules will be announced on the festival’s official site and social media channels. Fans of anime music and Shinshu culture alike are encouraged to look forward to this year’s festival.
