Kumamoto Castle, also known as "The Black Castle," is a stunning piece of Japanese history and architecture located in Kumamoto, Japan. Built in the late 16th century, the castle was once the stronghold of the powerful feudal lord, Kato Kiyomasa. The castle's impressive stone walls, grand gates and watchtowers, and beautiful architecture make it a popular tourist destination.
