Attractions
Sky Cycling
The Sylvanian Village Sky Cycling attraction offers a gentle “air ride” above the village, combining light pedaling with sweeping views of the surroundings and the refreshing breeze from Mount Fuji. At the entrance, guests are welcomed by the female Soyokaze Cat character, setting the scene for a charming experience. The ride lasts approximately three minutes and accommodates two riders at a time. The fee is charged per person. Suitable for ages four and up, with children under ten required to ride with a guardian, Sky Cycling offers a shared moment of fun in the unique setting of Sylvanian Village.
Charming House on the Green Hill – Museum & Photo Studio
The life-size home of the Milk Rabbit family offers an immersive experience in the world of Sylvanian Families. Visitors can bring their own dolls and take creative photos with themed displays and photo spots throughout the house. The first floor features the Nonohana Rabbit and Soyokaze Cat families, a special 40th-anniversary visual exhibit, and a life-size baby room complete with furniture. The second floor includes four new dioramas themed around an amusement park, flower garden, campsite, and ski area, providing opportunities for unique “Sylvanian-style” photographs.
Forest School – Theatre House
The theatre space immerses visitors in the world of Sylvanian Families, featuring a large screen that showcases CG animations and special events. Regular screenings and interactive programs offer shared moments of enjoyment and memorable experiences for families and friends. Bright, colourful decorations, including flags and flowers, create a storybook-like atmosphere, while carpeted areas provide spaces to relax, lie down, or rest. This hands-on environment blends learning, play, and photography opportunities.
Trickster Forest – Playground
Trickster Forest is a lively play area filled with jungle gyms, tunnels, and climbing structures, beloved by the children of Sylvanian Village. While exploring, visitors may encounter a girl squirrel or a boy bear. According to local legend, somewhere in the forest stands the mysterious Hoboon Tree, which makes a “hoboon” sound when tapped. Finding it adds an extra touch of adventure to the visit.
House on Windy Hill
Situated at the highest point of Sylvanian Village, the House on Windy Hill provides panoramic views of the entire village. Originally a windmill used for milling, it has been transformed into a popular play area for children. Inside, two friendly Sylvanian characters greet visitors, adding a charming touch to the experience.
Forest Market – Japan’s Largest Sylvanian Shop
Forest Market features an extensive selection of Sylvanian Families merchandise, including exclusive items from the Sylvanian Village Nonohana Rabbit Family. The store offers dolls, furniture, and goods imported from the UK, North America, Mexico, and Europe. Visitors can also find a wide range of souvenirs, from adorable stationery to tasty treats, with new products added regularly to keep the collection fresh and exciting.
Sylvanian Forest Kitchen – Little Sweets Shop
The shop offers a bright, natural space full of the charm of the Sylvanian Families world, where large Sylvanian dolls greet visitors at the entrance. Unique seating includes cake-shaped tables and special spots to sit alongside the characters. The interior is decorated with photogenic touches, such as posters of babies in kitchen uniforms, making it a perfect spot for memorable photos. Guests spending 700 yen or more receive one of six randomly selected novelty coasters. A sweets set with a souvenir is also available, adding an extra treat to the experience.
Swing on Windy Hill
The Windy Hill Swing offers a delightful ride through the flower fields of Sylvanian Village, with Mount Fuji and the windmill providing a scenic backdrop. During the swing, the theme song SweetSweet by PUFFY from the 2023 movie Sylvanian Families: A Gift from Freya plays, creating an immersive experience as the music moves in sync with the ride.

Grinpa-Only Sylvanian Families
Nonohana Rabbit Family (Field Flower Rabbit Family)
Father: Skilled at growing vegetables. He teaches children about vegetables through fun riddles and holds harvest festivals with his delicious crops.
Mother: Knows everything about flowers. She makes potpourri and pressed flowers so that everyone can always be close to flowers.
Boy: Very knowledgeable about history. He learns stories from grandparents and goes on adventures with friends after hearing mysterious tales.
Girl: Loves flowers. She enjoys embroidery with floral designs and giving handmade gifts, often guiding friends through flower fields.
Baby: A little foodie who loves visiting bakeries with delicious smells.
Soyokaze Neko Family (Breeze Cat)
Father: Loves reading and resting in the shade. Sometimes takes naps in the gentle breeze.
Mother: Cheerful and sings while cooking. Enjoys family picnics on sunny days.
Boy: Energetic and adventurous, exploring all over Sylvanian Village with Shima-neko. Loves riding the breezy cycling course to discover new places.
Girl: Cheerful and loves going out. Often visits favourite flower fields with the Nonohana Rabbit girl.
Baby: A bit afraid of heights but loves the baby amusement park’s sky Ferris wheel.
PICA Fuji Grinpa – Sylvanian Family Accommodations
The Sylvanian Village area at Grinpa is connected to the PICA Fuji Grinpa campground, offering a variety of Sylvanian Family-style accommodations for full immersion in the world of Sylvanian Families. Two Sylvanian houses, the Cute House in the Strawberry Forest and the Small House in the Forest, feature large deck terraces with hammocks and space for BBQ, all set against the beautiful backdrop of Mt. Fuji.
In addition, five themed cottages - Wakuwaku Play Cottage NOHARA, YOZORA, IRORI, ROJI, and ANAGURA - offer unique charms and special features, providing a memorable stay for guests of all ages.
The campground also includes two Sylvanian Family Exciting Setup Campsites, Nonohana Rabbit Boy Petal and Walnut Squirrel Girl Saffron, each equipped with everything needed for BBQs, campfires, and comfortable bedroom tents for relaxation.
A highlight of the area is the Ikoi Fire Pit, a 3-meter-wide fire circle with benches, where visitors can enjoy a cozy campfire under the night sky alongside the Sylvanian Families characters.
