  • The whole Kishigawa Line, 14.3 km from Wakayama Station to Kishi Station, as many times as you like on one day
  • All 14 stations, including Nichizengu, Kamayama, Idakiso and Kishi
Not covered

How to use it

You can buy the ticket in advance and pick the day. Before you ride, write the date on it with a marker or other pen that won't rub off, then show the date to the driver or station staff when you get off.

Trains leave from platform 9 at JR Wakayama Station and take about 30 minutes to Kishi. Kishi Station is known for its cat stationmaster, and the line runs specially designed trains such as the Ichigo, Tama and Umeboshi trains.

Before you buy

Anyone can buy it, all year. It is sold at the platform 9 counter at Wakayama Station, at Idakiso Station (9:00 to 17:30), at the Tama Cafe and Tama Shop at Kishi Station, and at the Wakayama Bus commuter pass office in the JR Wakayama Station concourse. It isn't sold at JR ticket machines; if you enter through the JR gates, tell the staff at the staffed gate that you are buying the ticket at the platform 9 counter.

A digital version is also sold online as a web ticket, and in the RYDE PASS and Kansai MaaS apps.

Refunds: an unused ticket can be refunded at Wakayama or Idakiso Station for ¥220 a ticket, if no date is written on it, or up to the day before the date written on it.
