What's covered
- Local buses of Sanko Bus, Kumamoto Dentetsu, Kumamoto Bus and Kumamoto Toshi Bus within the zone you choose
- The Kumamoto City Tram, on all lines, and the Shiromegurin bus around Kumamoto Castle
- Zone 1: central Kumamoto, including Kumamoto Station, Kumamoto Castle, Suizenji Garden and the zoo, plus Kumamoto Dentetsu trains from Kami-Kumamoto or Fujisakigu-mae to Horikawa
- Zone 2: a wider area out to Ueki, Kumamoto Port and Park Dome Kumamoto, plus Kumamoto Dentetsu trains as far as Suya
- Kumamoto Prefecture: almost the whole prefecture, including Aso, Amakusa, Hitoyoshi, Yamaga and Kikuchi, all Kumamoto Dentetsu lines and several community buses
- Group-rate admission at Kumamoto Castle, Suizenji Jojuen and other sights
- Highway, limited express and rapid buses, the Kyushu Odan bus and airport limousine buses

How to use it
The digital ticket runs for 24 hours from when you start using it, so an afternoon start carries over to the next morning. Hold the QR code in the app over the reader when you get on and off; on the tram, show the ticket screen to the crew when you get off.
The paper ticket is valid from 0:00 to 25:00 on the date you scratch off. On buses, take a numbered ticket when you board, put it in the fare box when you get off and show the date on your pass. On the tram and the Shiromegurin, just show the date when you get off. If you ride beyond your zone, you pay the fare from the last stop the pass covers.
Before you buy
Anyone can buy it. The digital ticket is sold in the my route and RYDE apps, and costs less than the paper ticket.
Paper tickets are sold at the operators' counters, the Kumamoto Station tourist information center, the Sakura-no-baba Josaien tourist information office and the bus information desk on the 2nd floor of Sakuramachi Bus Terminal, and on board Kumamoto Dentetsu buses and trains.
Refunds: an unused paper ticket can be refunded where you bought it, minus a ¥50 fee. Once the date is scratched off and that day has begun, there is no refund.

Which zone do I need for Kumamoto Castle and Suizenji Garden?
Zone 1 covers central Kumamoto, including Kumamoto Station, Kumamoto Castle and Suizenji Garden.
Can I get to Aso or Amakusa with it?
Yes, with the Kumamoto Prefecture version, on local buses. The Kyushu Odan bus, rapid and highway buses and the Aso crater line are not covered.
Does it cover the airport bus?
No. Airport limousine buses are not covered.
Is the digital or paper ticket better?
The digital ticket costs less and runs for 24 hours from first use. The paper ticket is valid for the calendar day you scratch off.
Is there a child price?
The official site publishes only adult prices.
