Soleil Hill is a comprehensive entertainment park offering a wide range of experiences, from seasonal flower displays and animal interactions to hands-on agricultural activities and diverse dining options. Located about 70 minutes by car from central Tokyo, the park is known for its exceptional scenery, with expansive views of Sagami Bay, Izu Ōshima, and Mount Fuji.
The park features 37 indoor and outdoor activity facilities, including areas such as the Little Iron Man Area, Laser Zone, roller coaster attractions, and zip lines. These activities provide both fun and physical challenges, though some have age or body-size restrictions, and younger visitors may require guardian supervision. Indoor sports facilities ensure that visitors can enjoy physical activities regardless of weather conditions.
Soleil Hill also offers a wide range of hands-on programs, including craft-making, farming experiences, cooking workshops, gardening activities, and various animal interaction zones, such as contact aquariums, reptile encounters, and an animal village. A dedicated dog run allows guests to enjoy the park with their pets, while scenic viewing platforms offer opportunities to appreciate the surrounding natural beauty.
Accommodation options include tents, glamping, bungalows, cottages, and trailer cabins, allowing visitors to choose a stay that suits their style. Guests can experience star-filled night skies and sunrises over Sagami Bay, and the park’s large open-air bath provides panoramic ocean views, with Mount Fuji visible on clear days.
Dining choices are extensive, ranging from pizza and Japanese dishes to barbecue options and sweet desserts. An expanded lineup of food vendors also offers enjoyable street-style snacks, enhancing the park’s appeal as a destination where visitors can spend their time in a variety of ways.
The park is particularly renowned for its garden fields, where visitors can enjoy the seasonal changes and the beauty of nature throughout the year. Highlights include cosmos flowers that bloom until the second half of November, nanohana (rapeseed) fields visible through winter to April, zinnia flowers, and isogiku (gold-and-silver chrysanthemums) in April and May, among other seasonal blooms.
Entry to the park itself is free. Activities, attractions, and facilities require separate tickets or passes, with prices varying depending on the activity and the day. Most attractions require a per-use ticket, but there are also coupon/multi-use tickets that provide access to multiple attractions at discounted rates. Tickets can be purchased on the park’s dedicated ticketing page. For more information about tickets and how to purchase them, visit the official ticket page.
