The 3rd T-Rex Race
第3回ティラノサウルスレース
A family-friendly racing event sees participants in full Tyrannosaurus costumes sprinting across park fields in various divisions, from junior to adult competitors.

The T-Rex Race, first held in January 2024, quickly became a nationwide sensation in Japan. Participants don full-body Tyrannosaurus suits and sprint across the park’s expansive grass fields in a fun, family-friendly competition. The event is officially certified by the Japan T-Rex Racing Federation, whose mission is to energise communities and foster connections through creative T-Rex-themed activities.
Racers are divided into two main divisions. The Adult Division, open to middle school age and older, welcomes 110 male and 110 female participants, while the Junior Division, for elementary school age and younger, accommodates 100 young racers. Altogether, approximately 320 participants are expected, though this number may vary.
The race program features a variety of exciting competitions, including the Juvenile Race, Adult Female and Male Races, and the Championship Race, which brings together winners from all divisions. Beyond the races, participants can enjoy engaging group activities performed in full dinosaur costume, such as radio exercises, a T-Rex group dance, and playful ball-toss games.
After the racing events, the T-Rex fun continues as participants explore park attractions while still in costume, creating a unique and memorable experience. Soleil Hill offers access to attractions such as the Ferris Wheel, Merry-Go-Round, Diver Shooter, GOGO Kart, Soleil Train, and more.
