Arina Tanemura 30th Anniversary Exhibition: Sparkling Dream Stories of Girls (Tokyo)

An original artwork exhibition celebrating the 30th anniversary of manga artist Arina Tanemura’s career will be held in Tokyo.

Arina Tanemura made her debut in 1996 in the shojo manga magazine Ribon. She rose to prominence with Kamikaze Kaito Jeanne (Phantom Thief Jeanne), which began serialisation in 1998 and became a major hit, with total circulation exceeding 6 million copies. The series was later adapted into a television anime. Since then, Tanemura has created many other beloved works, including Full Moon o Sagashite, The Gentlemen’s Alliance Cross, and Sakura Hime: The Legend of Princess Sakura, establishing her as a leading figure in shojo manga.
