Grand Sumo Nishinomiya Tournament

大相撲 西宮場所

This touring event offers close encounters with rikishi and features diverse attractions enjoyed by everyone from sumo beginners to devoted fans. Beyond the matches themselves, must-see performances not found at regular tournaments include the "hair-styling demonstration", where visitors observe the iconic topknot (oichomage) being styled on popular rikishi, and the "shokkiri" – a comical performance demonstrating forbidden techniques and rare winning methods. The tour also offers unique interaction opportunities, including handshake sessions and photo opportunities with popular rikishi.
