The Kobe Illuminage Countdown Festival welcomes the New Year with one of Japan’s largest and most dazzling illumination displays. Celebrating its 15th anniversary in 2025, the event unfolds on an unprecedented scale, transforming the night into a breathtaking fusion of light, sound, and performance.

Set against a radiant backdrop of millions of lights, the festival blends music, entertainment, and cutting-edge technology to create an atmosphere of wonder. The program features a drone show, bubble performances, live music, DJ sets, and a variety of attractions that appeal to all generations.
