"Haikyuu!! On the Court" is an immersive volleyball experience event based on the popular anime series. Set inside a space themed as the "On the Court Special Training Center", visitors participate as players on a real volleyball court guided by 12 characters from the anime. The event is designed to be accessible to everyone, from experienced volleyball players to those who rarely exercise – though comfortable clothing and sneakers are recommended, as some content involves physical activity.

Highlights

The event is built around three core volleyball actions, each with its own dedicated experience booth.

The "Fly" booth focuses on the jump, a fundamental element of volleyball. It is divided into two areas: the Challenge Area, where visitors jump against a roughly five-meter-high wall with a net projected at the standard men's volleyball height of 2.40 meters and compete to match a chosen character's maximum reach, and the Free Area, where visitors can take photos in jump poses alongside character visuals in a more relaxed setting.

The "Spike" booth, called the Sync Court, places visitors on a real court to experience multiple scenes featuring Hinata and Kageyama's iconic combination attacks. The exhibit is designed around three specific plays – Minus Tempo, which conveys overwhelming speed; the Broad Attack, which communicates distance through lateral movement across the court; and the Back Attack, which illustrates the timing of an attack concealed within team play. Viewing positions are spread across the court, including the back of the court for a bird's-eye perspective on speed and movement, and the opponent's side of the net for the sensation of facing an incoming attack.

The "Connect" booth, titled Gachi Receive Battle, focuses on the receive. Visitors face serves delivered by some of the series' most powerful servers, including Oikawa and Miya Atsumu, and must time their receive accurately to connect the ball to their teammates. Performance is tracked and results are displayed at the end, giving visitors a direct sense of the difficulty and satisfaction of the receive in a match context.

The 12 characters serving as guides across the event represent a broad selection of teams and positions from the series: Shoyo Hinata and Tobio Kageyama (Karasuno, first year), Kei Tsukishima (Karasuno, first year), Yu Nishinoya (Karasuno, second year), Toru Oikawa (Aoba Johsai, third year), Tetsuro Kuroo, Kenma Kozume, and Morisuke Yaku (Nekoma), Wakatoshi Ushijima (Shiratorizawa, third year), Kotaro Bokuto (Fukurodani, third year), and Atsumu and Osamu Miya (Inarizaki, second year).

Four ticket categories are available, all date- and time-specific: the standard general ticket; a limited-quantity goods-included ticket bundles admission with an exclusive uniform-design bib vest, available in six school variations – Karasuno, Aoba Johsai, Nekoma, Shiratorizawa, Fukurodani, and Inarizaki – at a flat rate regardless of age. An audio guide ticket adds a specially recorded guide narrated entirely in Japanese by the original anime voice cast, featuring all 12 characters divided into three selectable groups. A fourth option combines the audio guide with the limited goods bundle. All visitors receive a random visual card upon entry. Children under elementary school age enter free when accompanied by a ticketed adult.

Tickets are sold through a lottery system. The second lottery runs from April 14 to April 22, with results announced April 27. The third lottery runs from April 28 to May 6, with results announced May 11. General sale on a first-come, first-served basis opens June 1, 2026. Lottery entries require a free e+ membership.
