Nagoya PARCO is reinventing itself as an entertainment destination. On Friday 4 September 2026, the department store opens a new entertainment floor on the eighth floor of its West Building, the centrepiece of a store-wide concept called PARCO Enta Park (styled in English as "Entertainment Park Nagoya").

Bringing together character shops for anime, manga, tokusatsu, and games alongside a large exhibition hall, the reinvented store holds around 40 entertainment shops in total, making it one of the largest entertainment zones of its kind in Japan.

The shops

Among the character and franchise shops, Godzilla Store Nagoya is the official Godzilla store's first outpost in the Tokai region, stocking exclusive figures, apparel, and plush toys drawn from across the long-running film series. Kamen Rider Store Nagoya, also a regional first, gathers goods spanning the Showa, Heisei, and Reiwa generations of the tokusatsu hero. The Crayon Shin-chan Official Shop "Action Department" Nagoya is a permanent official store for the popular anime, with an interior modelled on the department store the Nohara family frequents in the series.

AniBirth, another Tokai-region first, is an official Toei Animation goods shop, carrying a range of titles including Pretty Cure, Digimon, Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir, Girls Band Cry, The First Slam Dunk, and GeGeGe no Kitaro. Nishimura Yuji Purchasing Department Main Store Nagoya, the last of the five regional debuts, is a flagship store for the Studio UG characters, among them Gokigen Panda, Konezumi, and Love Rabbit, with an interior styled after an old-fashioned school shop.

The floor is also home to the ONE PIECE Straw Hat Store Nagoya, billed as the largest official ONE PIECE goods store and the only branch in the Tokai region, and to Sylvanian Families Forest House Premium, reopening after a renewal as the region's only such store.

Alongside the shops are two places to eat. THE GUEST CAFE BY PARCO is a collaboration café that hosts a rotating series of tie-ups with different franchises, its first following the renewal being the film Chiikawa: The Secret of Mermaid Island. Sweets Paradise, which opened ahead of the rest of the floor on 12 June 2026, is a dessert restaurant that has switched to an order-based format, plating up sweets chosen from a showcase.

PARCO HALL

The floor's largest addition is PARCO HALL, an exhibition space intended as a cultural hub for the wider Enta Park concept. Its inaugural exhibition is the 30th Anniversary Exhibition "ALL OF EVANGELION," which displays production materials central to the series, including vivid cel artwork from the television anime and detailed key animation from the "Rebuild of Evangelion" films.

At Hey Japan!, we strive to keep the places listed on our website as current as possible. However, location owners or management may alter opening times or modify admission requirements without prior notice. Check official websites before visiting.
