Universal Studios Japan's Halloween Horror Nights returns for its 15th edition with new zombies, shows, and a Resident Evil attraction.

Universal Studios Japan will hold its autumn seasonal event, "Universal Extreme Autumn ~ Discover U!!! ~. At its centre is "Halloween Horror Nights", which celebrates its own 15th anniversary having grown since 2011 into one of the defining horror experiences of Japan's autumn season.
The park-wide "Street Zombies" returns with its largest number of zombies to date, transforming the everyday park scenery after dark. Running alongside it, "Zombie de Dance" invites guests to dance to a mix of collaboration tracks, and this year adds a special show, "Halloween Horror Nights Academy ~ 15 Years of Screams ~", bringing together zombies and horror figures from past editions.

A major addition is "Resident Evil Requiem: The Dive", a horror attraction based on the latest instalment of the survival-horror game series, set in an abandoned hotel and sanatorium where creatures attack from all sides (running until 27 December). Other highlights include the return of the "Sadako's Curse" horror ride, the "Factory of Fear" zombie walkthrough, the KATE-produced "The Witch of No. 18", and collaborations with the anime "Chainsaw Man", including a 4-D attraction and a coaster newly featuring Kenshi Yonezu's theme song "IRIS OUT".

The wider autumn programme also includes daytime Halloween greetings with the Minions, park-wide trick-or-treating, and limited-time after-dark versions of established attractions such as "Jaws" and "Jurassic Park: The Ride". Super Nintendo World, meanwhile, marks its own fifth anniversary with new character greetings, including the debut of pink and light-blue Yoshi.
