The Gachagacha Exhibition in Roppongi showcases the creativity, craftsmanship, and cultural impact of Japan’s capsule toy industry.

Originally launched in July 2025 at the Marunouchi Building Hall to commemorate the 60th anniversary of gachagacha’s introduction to Japan, the exhibition drew widespread attention and acclaim. Building on that success, the Roppongi edition expands in scale with additional participating manufacturers and new exhibits, offering visitors an even broader view of the evolution and appeal of gachagacha culture.

This exhibition brings together 13 manufacturers and numerous creators, including new participants Ikimon and Benelic, alongside returning companies that will present newly developed works. Exhibits range from highly detailed figures and precision miniatures to practical goods, plush toys, and humorous novelty items, reflecting the diversity and ingenuity of the capsule toy medium.

A special highlight of the exhibition is the “Gachagacha Exhibition Grand Prize”, organised in celebration of Gachagacha Day on February 17. During the voting period from February 6 to February 16, visitors will be invited to vote for their favorite products on display. Votes will be cast across five categories — Figures, Goods, Plush Toys, Novelty Items, and Miniatures — and the product receiving the highest number of votes will be awarded the Grand Prize. The results will be announced on February 17 at 15:00.

Timed-entry tickets will be required on the opening day as well as on weekends and public holidays, while weekday tickets allow flexible entry during opening hours.

Advance tickets will be sold via Asoview!
