The Shiokaze-dori shopping arcade in Himi features entertaining statues of characters from "Ninja Hattori-kun", a manga created by the Himi-born artist Fujiko Fujio (A). Additionally, 16 statues of anthropomorphized water creatures can be found on both sides of the arcade. Each statue is equipped with a sensor that triggers and delivers humorous remarks when someone approaches.
