Shibamasa World

Shibamasa World is a 560,000-square-meter entertainment complex on the Sea of Japan coast in Sakai City, Fukui Prefecture. The park combines three main areas: a summer water park, year-round attractions, and camping facilities, all set against ocean views and expansive lawns.

Water Park

Japan's largest resort pool complex operates from late June through September with approximately 50 water slides and multiple pool types.

Major Attractions:

Caribbean Beach is a wave pool that simulates ocean conditions with views of the actual Sea of Japan. The Monster Slider carries six riders at once, while Triple Saurus features world-class tube slides with massive inflatable rings.

Flowing river pools come in two depths (100 cm and 80 cm) for leisurely floating. Children's pools range from 30 to 60 cm deep and include elephant-shaped slides for safe water play.

Special Features:

The indoor Amazon pool operates year-round with climate control and jungle theming. The Starlight Pool program (mid-July to end of August) extends hours into the evening with illuminated pools for night swimming under the stars.
