The Yamaguchi Center for Arts and Media (YCAM) is an art center in Yamaguchi City that works with media technology. It opened on 1 November 2003. Besides exhibition space, the building holds a cinema, a library and a workshop space. YCAM InterLab, its in-house research and development team, makes artworks, software, hardware and papers. The center also stages exhibitions, performances, film screenings and workshops for children, and runs education and community projects that apply media technology to local issues.
