ALL JAPAN HIPHOP DANCE CHAMPIONSHIP 2026

The ALL JAPAN HIPHOP DANCE CHAMPIONSHIP 2026, Japan’s top street dance contest, serves as the domestic qualifier for the world’s largest street dance competition, HIP HOP INTERNATIONAL (HHI) in the United States, which draws over 60,000 participants from more than 50 countries.

First featured on popular TV programs such as Sore Snow Man ni Yarasete Kudasai and Another Sky, the championship has become Japan’s premier stage for dancers to pursue their dreams. Teams compete across multiple categories based on age and team size, making the event accessible to dancers of all levels—from amateurs to aspiring professionals.

The top five teams in each category will earn the right to represent Japan at the WORLD HIP HOP DANCE CHAMPIONSHIP 2026 in Phoenix, Arizona, in August 2026.

What Makes the Championship Stand Out

• World-Class Judging: Only judges certified through HHI’s official training in the U.S. evaluate performances, ensuring fair and globally standardized scoring.

• Strict Rules and Innovation: Routines must include three or more dance genres, and performances are judged with precise, figure-skating-style rules to encourage technical skill and creativity.
