Anime Classics Anison Fireworks is a new kind of entertainment combining anime and fireworks will take place at Mikuni World Stadium Kitakyushu in Fukuoka on Saturday, October 4, 2025. The event brings together beloved anime from the 1970s to 1990s, their iconic opening and ending songs, and a grand fireworks display, creating an immersive experience that celebrates both anime and traditional Japanese culture.

The show will feature 29 songs in total - 26 anime themes and 3 special program tracks. Midway through the event, renowned anisong singer Azumi Inoue will appear on stage with her daughter Yuyu, performing classics such as "My Neighbor Totoro" and "Castle in the Sky", synchronised with fireworks.

This special series of shows comes with exclusive merch you can’t get anywhere else - a cushion mat and a leisure sheet featuring a rare crossover of characters from different anime studios. The limited-edition goods vary depending on the ticket type you choose.

Kids under 6 can join for free when sitting on a parent’s lap.

The wheelchair-accessible ticket is category Wheelchair Accessible Pair, and includes a reserved seat for one accompanying guest.

Tickets Categories A and E (Premium Front Row Table Seats and Table-Equipped Stand Reserved Seats) include a reserved table with four chairs, perfect for up to four guests.
