AnimeJapan 2026 will take place at Tokyo Big Sight, hosting fans and industry professionals for an event focused on Japanese animation. It is one of the largest anime conventions held annually.

The AJ Stage consists of four stages with appearances by voice actors, creators, and guests. Presentations will cover ongoing productions as well as new announcements, including behind-the-scenes discussions and previews of upcoming projects.

The exhibition area will feature booths from companies including Bandai Namco, NHK, Frontier Works, Fate/Grand Order, Good Smile Company, Kadokawa, MAPPA, Sega, Toho Animation, Toei Animation, and Ufotable. Exhibits will include product displays, announcements, and mini stage events.

Exclusive merchandise will be available at the event, including an AnimeJapan gacha based on the official key visual and a selection of original goods. These items will only be sold at the convention.

Cosplay participation is a regular feature of AnimeJapan, with attendees coming from various countries to take part.

Idol group Sakurazaka46 is serving as the official ambassador for the 2026 event.

Following the public days, Business Days will be held on March 30 and 31 at the Tokyo Big Sight Conference Tower. This segment is open only to business visitors and is intended to facilitate meetings between anime content holders, overseas buyers, and companies involved in content licensing and distribution.

At Hey Japan!, we strive to keep the events listed on our website as current as possible. However, event organizers may cancel events, alter schedules, or modify admission requirements without prior notice. Check official websites before attending any event.
