The Sado Island Endurance Challenge offers a variety of courses throughout the island, attracting 2,000 competitors from Japan and abroad. The premier A-type race features the longest bike course in Japan, spanning 210 km (130.5 mi) and circling the entire island. To minimize traffic, driving is discouraged on event day, allowing runners and bikers to enjoy the support of spectators and 5,000 volunteer staff.
