"Shinjuku Gourmet Park Daisakusen" is a large-scale food festival project running for roughly 100 days at Okubo Park in Shinjuku's Kabukicho district. Across the period, four distinct events run consecutively: "Tokyo Curry Expo 2026", "Dai Tsukemen Haku presents Ra-1 Grand Prix", "Machi Chuka & Gyoza Fes", and "Garlic-risumasu". Popular and talked-about shops from across Japan gather throughout, turning the area into a "food theme park" that runs from early autumn into the Christmas season.
Tokyo Curry Expo 2026

Popular curry shops from across Japan come together, with establishments spanning European-style curry, spice curry and South Indian curry. This year the event evolves into a hands-on festival where visitors can build their own curry plate.

A festival combining consistently popular gyoza with machi chuka (neighbourhood Chinese diner) culture, which has drawn renewed attention in recent years. Alongside gyoza, dishes such as fried rice, mapo tofu and shumai are on offer.

A Christmas event built around the theme of "Japan's smelliest, most delicious Christmas". Aromatic garlic dishes such as ajillo, garlic steak and peperoncino are set to feature.
Food and drink charged via a meal-ticket system.
