- Walk 7 minutes
Shiroi Koibito Park Sweet Illumination is an annual event that transforms the park into a fantastical winter landscape filled with light and colour. This year’s theme, Blooming Snow Fantasy, features illuminations inspired by bells and flowers, creating a dreamlike atmosphere. A symbolic large bell sparkles in rainbow colours every hour at :15 and :45, offering a special visual moment for visitors. A highlight this year is the debut of the Sweet Flower Area, a new zone that combines colourful floral illuminations with gentle sweet fragrances for a multi-sensory experience. During the illumination period, visitors can also enjoy limited-time sweets, including Snow Sparkle Soft-Serve Ice Cream and a limited-quantity Shiroi Koibito Nama Chocolate Sandwich.
Illumination Areas and Highlights
The park features a variety of themed illumination zones. The Sweet Bell Area showcases the rainbow-lit bell performance, while the Sweet Flower Area presents a glowing flower field experience. The Love Lock Heart Arch, illuminated with white floral lights, is a popular photo spot where visitors can attach love locks. The Illuminated Photo Zone fills the garden with softly blooming white light flowers, creating striking winter photo opportunities.
Additional highlights include the Welcome Gate, designed to greet guests with light and surprise; the Amazing Tree Area, where interactive lighting effects respond to touch; the Light Tunnel, decorated with countless bulbs; and the Star London Bus, a red double-decker bus illuminated for the season.
Visitors can purchase a Love Lock for 1,000 yen (tax included) and attach it to the heart-shaped arch as a keepsake with a loved one.
