When Tokyo Idol Festival launched in 2010, it pioneered a novel concept in Japan's music industry: a large-scale, multi-stage festival exclusively dedicated to idol music and culture. The event has grown alongside Japan's vibrant idol scene, evolving from a niche gathering into the nation's largest and most significant idol event.

The three-day event features multiple stages hosting performances by established and emerging idol groups. Beyond live music, the festival incorporates diverse programming designed to celebrate idol culture in all its forms. The event takes place across the spacious Odaiba and Aomi waterfront area, providing sprawling grounds suitable for the festival's multiple stages and varied attractions.
