AMUSEMENT EXPO 2025 is an event hosted by the Japan Amusement Industry Association (JAIA), the country’s largest festival celebrating arcade games and amusement entertainment. The event showcases a wide range of arcade games and interactive attractions, including crane games, video games, photo sticker booths, medal games, and more, giving attendees the chance to experience the latest innovations in the amusement industry. In addition to exhibitor-led experiences and merchandise sales, JAIA will present special themed events, making it a must-visit for fans and industry professionals alike. The festival is held over two days: the first day is for businesses, and the second day is open to the public.

The Business Day – Friday, November 14, 2025 – features seminars and events designed for industry professionals and students:

  • Amusement Industry Research Seminar (11:30–13:00). Operators, manufacturers, prize makers, distributors, and theme park companies present insights into game development, sales, and operations.

  • JAIA Compliance Seminar (13:30–14:30). Led by lawyer Hisashi Otsuka, this session covers legal obligations and restrictions for amusement operators, fostering proper understanding of regulations.

  • Amusement Staff Certification Exam (10:30–16:30). Staff can take a business knowledge exam designed for professionals in amusement facilities.

The User Day – Saturday, November 15, 2025 – is designed for fans and features hands-on activities and entertainment:

  • Prize Fair: Free Crane Game Play (9:00–16:30). Try your luck at winning prizes in a free-play crane game zone.

  • Crane Game Certification Corner (9:00–16:30). Test your skills on machines set to various difficulty levels by industry experts.

  • Crane Game 60th Anniversary Stamp Rally (9:00–16:30). Participate in a stamp-collecting event hosted by crane game and prize manufacturers, with limited-edition rewards for early participants.
