Child fares are for ages 6 to 11. From age 12, the adult fare applies. Each adult with the pass can bring one primary school child for free. Up to two children aged 1 to 5 ride free with each passenger, and babies under 1 ride free.
The paper pass is valid on one day you choose. The digital pass runs for 24 hours from the moment you start it in the my route app.

How to use it
The paper pass is a scratch card: scratch off the date you want to use it, before the expiry date printed on it. Take a numbered ticket when you get on. When you get off, put the numbered ticket in the fare box and show the pass to the driver. If you scratch the wrong date, an unused pass can be exchanged at a ticket counter.
The digital pass is cheaper and is bought in the my route app. Tap to start it when you want to use it; it then runs for 24 hours.
Since 2025/10/01 the Tabito has run as a fully cashless bus. It takes no cash, but it does accept this pass.
Before you buy
Anyone can buy it. The paper pass is sold at Nishitetsu Tenjin Highway Bus Terminal, Hakata Bus Terminal, Fukuoka Airport bus terminal, commuter pass offices and bus offices, but not on the bus.
Child fares are for ages 6 to 11. Each adult with the pass can bring one primary school child for free, and up to two children aged 1 to 5 ride free with each passenger.
Refunds: an unused paper pass can be refunded at a ticket counter for a fee, but not after its expiry date or once two or more dates are scratched. An unused digital pass can be refunded in the app for ¥110 each.

Does the Fukuoka City & Dazaifu Liner Bus Tabito One-day Pass go to Dazaifu?
Yes. It covers the Tabito liner bus between Hakata Station, Fukuoka Airport International Terminal and Dazaifu, as well as Nishitetsu buses within Fukuoka City.
Can I take the Tabito from Fukuoka Airport?
Yes. The Tabito stops at Fukuoka Airport International Terminal on its way between Hakata Station and Dazaifu.
Can I use it on the Airport Express to Tenjin?
No. The Airport Express between Tenjin and Fukuoka Airport does not accept this pass.
Can I pay cash on the Tabito?
No. The Tabito has been fully cashless since 2025/10/01, but it accepts this pass.
Is there a digital version?
Yes. A 24-hour digital pass is sold in the my route app for ¥2,000, against ¥2,100 for the paper pass.
Do children need their own pass?
One primary school child rides free with each adult pass holder. Other children aged 6 to 11 pay the child fare, ¥1,050 for the paper pass.
