Yuri-no-Sato Park is a park in the Harue district of Sakai, Fukui, known for its lilies. About 150,000 of them flower in June, the month of the park's Yuri Festa.
Flowers
The flower beds lie in a display field of about 3,800 square meters. Roses take over in May and October, when 120 varieties come into flower.
Yurimu Harue
Inside the display field stands Yurimu Harue (ユリーム春江), a dome built in the shape of a lily. It houses the park's reception and rooms for hire.
The grounds
A stream fed with water from the Kuzuryu River runs through the lawn park, which also has large play equipment and keeps deer. Elsewhere are a barbecue area, a dog run, a farm produce shop and Hana no Eki (花の駅), a shop selling seasonal plants. The park is lit up after dark.
