Exciting news for Pokémon fans in Japan and beyond! The beloved Pokémon Center Hiroshima is set to reopen in a brand-new location within the upcoming "minamoa" station building at JR Hiroshima Station. This refreshed space promises to bring more fun, adventure, and Pokémon magic than ever before.

A Decade of Memories

Since its debut in 2015, Pokémon Center Hiroshima has been a haven for trainers and fans alike. After nearly 10 years of creating memories, the current store will close its doors in late March 2025. But don’t worry—an even better experience awaits!

The new Pokémon Center Hiroshima will officially open in April 2025, located on the second floor of JR Hiroshima Station's north exit in the ekie shopping area. Expect an upgraded shopping experience packed with exclusive merchandise and surprises!

Welcome to Gyarados Plaza!

Before the new store opens, another exciting attraction will debut! On March 24, 2025, the rooftop of minamoa will feature “Gyarados Plaza”, a fun space for Pokémon enthusiasts of all ages. The plaza will include a giant Gyarados-themed playground and areas to relax, play, and enjoy the Pokémon world.

  • Important Note: Playground use will initially require a reservation. Keep an eye on the minamoa website, set to launch in early March 2025, for more details.

Pokémon Magic Around Every Corner

The Pokémon magic won’t stop at the store or plaza! Across JR Hiroshima Station, Pokémon sculptures and benches, including a delightful Snorlax bench, will brighten your day and provide perfect photo opportunities.

Stronger Together

This project is a collaborative effort between Pokémon Center Co., Ltd., West Japan Railway Company, and China SC Development Co., Ltd. Their goal? To make Hiroshima Station a destination for Pokémon fans worldwide.

Plan Your Visit!

Whether you're a seasoned Pokémon Master or a casual fan, the revamped Pokémon Center Hiroshima and Gyarados Plaza are experiences you won’t want to miss. Stay updated with the latest details and announcements on the official Pokémon Center Hiroshima page.
