Japan Mobility Show
ジャパンモビリティショー
A transformative mobility exhibition brings together automotive innovation, motorcycles, motorsports, and future transportation solutions.

The Japan Mobility Show emerges as a transformative platform where automotive innovation meets societal vision. Scheduled to take place at Tokyo Big Sight from October 30 through November 9, this comprehensive exhibition represents the evolution of the traditional Tokyo Motor Show into a dynamic cross-industry collaboration focused on mobility's future.
Conceptual Foundation and Visual Identity
The show operates under the central theme "A unique opportunity to explore mobility's future," bringing together diverse audiences through the rallying slogan "Let's Go MobiShow!" The event's key visual emphasizes the convergence of multiple perspectives and pathways toward creating tomorrow's transportation solutions. This inclusive approach welcomes car enthusiasts, motorcycle aficionados, motorsports fans, vintage vehicle admirers, business professionals, and families alike.
Three Pillars of Innovation
The exhibition structure revolves around three interconnected themes that comprehensively address mobility's evolution.
Future-Focused Exploration
The Future theme centers on Tokyo Future Tour 2035, an enhanced version of the highly successful program from the inaugural 2023 show. Participants experience technologies and innovations expected to become mainstream within a decade. This ambitious vision involves collaboration among over 100 companies and organizations spanning diverse industries, demonstrating the broad commitment to mobility transformation beyond traditional automotive boundaries.
Cultural Heritage and Appeal
The Culture theme celebrates mobility's deep-rooted significance in human experience. Programming includes historical retrospectives showcasing iconic vehicles from distinct eras, offering both nostalgic experiences for veterans and discovery opportunities for newcomers. Interactive elements feature driving demonstrations and ride-along experiences with racing cars, historic vehicles, and specialized automobiles, allowing visitors to appreciate remarkable engineering capabilities firsthand.
Additional cultural programming encompasses next-generation fuel demonstrations, rare supercar exhibitions, custom vehicle showcases, and recreational vehicle displays. Family-oriented activities include work vehicle exhibits, educational talk shows, the popular Tomica toy vehicle booth, and a marketplace celebrating agricultural transportation through kei trucks and regional produce displays.
Business Innovation and Collaboration
The Creation theme facilitates business development through Startup Future Factory, featuring exhibitor booths and a comprehensive Pitch Contest & Awards program. This dual approach enables startup companies and established enterprises to form strategic partnerships focused on business co-creation and industry expansion. The program operates across two distinct business-growth stages, addressing specific developmental needs effectively.
The Future Mobility Forum presents multi-session conferences exploring mobility's societal integration. Led by Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association senior officers, these sessions include diverse perspectives on business co-creation, appealing to both industry professionals and general audiences.
Exhibition Scope and Participation
A total of 136 exhibitors will present products across six comprehensive categories: passenger cars, commercial vehicles, motorcycles, vehicle bodies, parts and machinery, tools, and mobility-related technologies. Visitors navigate among displays featuring concept cars and cutting-edge automotive technologies, experiencing mobility's future through hands-on exploration.
Educational and Entertainment Programming
Out of KidZania in JMS returns following its successful debut, offering elementary school children work-focused role-playing experiences using authentic equipment and tools for various mobility-related occupations. This educational component bridges generational gaps in understanding transportation careers and technologies.
Diverse gastronomic experiences throughout the venue include dedicated restaurants and casual food courts, providing sustenance and rest areas for extended exploration.
Industry Partnerships and Support
The exhibition benefits from strategic partnerships with organizations sharing mobility advancement visions. SCSK Corporation serves as the main partner, LED TOKYO Co. provides official supplier support, and Sumitomo Mitsui Auto Service Company functions as an official partner. These collaborations demonstrate industry-wide commitment to the event's success and objectives.
Accessibility and Evolution
Japan Mobility Show 2025 represents the modern evolution of the 70-year-old Tokyo Motor Show tradition, transforming from a purely automotive focus to a comprehensive mobility co-creation platform. This cross-industry approach addresses contemporary transportation challenges while honoring automotive heritage and innovation legacy.
The exhibition acknowledges mobility's expanding definition beyond traditional vehicles to encompass smart cities, sustainable transportation, connectivity solutions, and integrated societal systems. This holistic perspective positions the show as a crucial forum for addressing 21st-century transportation challenges through collaborative innovation.
