Sanohara Shrine
佐野原神社
Shrine honoring Fujiwara Ason Nijo Tamefuyuki, a court noble who died in 1335 during the Battle of Hakone, and son of the waka poet Nijō Tameyo.
The main deity honored is Fujiwara Ason Nijo Tamefuyuki. He was the youngest child of Nijō Tameyo, a Japanese courtier and waka poet. Tamefuyuki died on December 12, 1335 while serving as a court noble general in the Battle of Hakone at Sanohara.
