An immersive exhibition exploring the world of popular manga Dandadan through original artwork, storyboards, and themed zones showcasing occult-battle scenes.

The exhibition, titled “Dandadan Gengaten” will be held at the Mitsukoshi Gallery, 9th Floor, Fukuoka Mitsukoshi, from December 29, 2025, to January 25, 2026. With over 12 million copies in circulation, Dandadan has become one of the most popular ongoing series on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+. The Fukuoka exhibition offers visitors an immersive experience in the series’ thrilling world of occult, battles, romance, and youth, brought to life through dynamic original artwork and stunning video presentations. Fans can view original illustrations, reproductions, and handwritten storyboards, providing a rare, up-close look at Ryū Yukinobu’s expressive and energetic art style.
The exhibition is organized into six immersive areas. An opening movie draws visitors into the story, a character section explores the main characters Momo, Okarun, and Hoshiko, and an occult zone highlights the supernatural elements unique to Dandadan. Visitors can also explore the making of the series, including interviews with the author and a display of the original art from the first three chapters.
The Occult Battle section presents large-scale, action-packed scenes with life-sized figures of Momo and Okarun. A dedicated romance area showcases the story’s comedic and touching moments, while the Emotion section allows fans to relive the climactic scenes that define the series. The exhibition also features photo spots and approximately 200 limited-edition exclusive merchandise items, making it a must-see for both longtime fans and newcomers.
