Fukuoka City will host the Disney Animation Immersive Experience at the Fukuoka City Museum Special Exhibition Room from Monday, October 13, 2025, to Sunday, February 1, 2026. Developed in collaboration with Walt Disney Animation Studios and Lighthouse Immersive Studio, the event allows visitors to step into scenes from Disney classics and contemporary favorites. Guests can experience iconic moments such as standing on the savannah as Rafiki introduces Simba, riding to Zootopia with Judy Hopps, soaring on a magic carpet with Aladdin and Jasmine, or entering a magical house alongside Mirabel from Encanto. The exhibition blends music, animation, and art to bring Disney’s creative legacy to life. Photography is permitted throughout the venue, giving visitors the chance to capture their magical experiences.

This is Disney’s first-ever fully immersive experience, created in collaboration with Walt Disney Animation Studios. After premiering in North America in 2022, it began its international tour in Tokyo, the first overseas city to host it. Since then, the event has traveled to Osaka, Toyama, and Iwate, with Fukuoka now serving as the fifth Japanese city - and the only venue in Kyushu.
