The Kawagoe Coffee Festival returns for its 10th anniversary on December 6–7, set against the historic backdrop of Renkeiji Temple in Koedo Kawagoe. This special two-day event will bring together 30 leading coffee roasters from across Japan, offering visitors the chance to experience the latest in Japan’s coffee culture through a variety of brewing styles and tasting options.
To mark the milestone year, the festival will feature an exclusive collaboration with momiji, the lifestyle brand led by actor Kenichi Matsuyama. A limited-edition TASUKI strap, crafted from traditional Sanada-himo cord and supple deerskin, will debut at the event.
The festival also includes an impressive live music lineup with artists such as Takao Tajima (Original Love), Reitaro Kimyo, Shingo Sekiguchi, and NakamuraEmi. Acoustic performances held within the serene temple grounds promise a unique fusion of music, craft, and atmosphere.
Founded in 2017, the Kawagoe Coffee Festival has grown into one of Japan’s most beloved coffee-focused events, attracting thousands of visitors each year. Renkeiji Temple, with over 400 years of history, offers a one-of-a-kind setting where tradition, community, and modern culture meet.
