Kabukichō is a district in Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan, known for its vibrant nightlife and entertainment. It is considered one of Tokyo's major red-light districts and is known for its abundance of bars, clubs, izakayas (Japanese pubs), and adult entertainment establishments. The area is particularly popular among salarymen (office workers) and tourists, and is known for its lively atmosphere and wide variety of dining and entertainment options.

It is also the location of the famous Robot Restaurant and the Golden Gai, an area of tiny bars squeezed into an alleyway, each with its own unique atmosphere and clientele. Kabukichō is also home to several large entertainment venues and is known for its bright neon lights and billboards.

Due to the nature of the district, it's recommended to pay attention and be aware of the surroundings.
