Japan's largest goldfish museum is located in Nara Prefecture, a top 3 goldfish-growing region. Displays by leading artists center around the theme of "goldfish." Experience unique features like projection mapping, flowers, terrariums, and mirror balls. The museum showcases a variety of common to rare goldfish species, all bred in Yamatokoriyama City. Approx. 3,000 goldfish swim elegantly in the aquariums. 7 art spaces feature projection mapping, light, stained glass, and mirrors crafted by various artists, creating fantastical environments. The swimming goldfish are part of the art, and their expressions are a sight to behold.

Five Hundred Goldfish

The display features goldfish created in partnership with Yanai Goldfish Lanterns from Yamaguchi Prefecture, made with the intention of connecting people through "bonds" across the country. Over 500 handcrafted goldfish lanterns, each made by skilled artisans, were brought together by UWS ENTERTAINMENT.

Human Aquarium
