More about this place

The Autumn & Winter Fair is a seasonal program at the Fujiko F. Fujio Museum in Kawasaki. The museum is dedicated to the manga artist who created Doraemon. During the fair the building is decorated for winter, the cafe serves a menu of warm food and drinks, and new goods go on sale. It runs alongside the museum's 15th anniversary exhibition on Doraemon's wish-granting secret gadgets.

A large Christmas tree stands in Minna no Hiroba, the open hall on the second floor, where the big window is decorated with a winter design for the season. On the third floor, the open space called the Harappa has a crystal tree, and special lighting comes on there at dusk, so the space looks different after dark than it does by day.

The Museum Cafe, also on the third floor, has a seasonal menu of warm drinks and baked goods to go with a walk on the Harappa. It includes hot royal milk tea, hot lemonade, consomme soup, financiers and canneles in matcha and raspberry flavours. The baked goods are made in limited numbers. Later in the fair, the Museum Shop on the ground floor adds new goods printed with the fair's key visual, among them a blanket and a stainless steel thermos bottle.
