Nagasaki Shinchi Chinatown is a historic district located in the city of Nagasaki, Japan. It is one of the oldest Chinatowns in Japan and was established by Chinese traders who settled in the area in the late 16th century. The district features a variety of Chinese-style buildings, including temples, shops, and restaurants, as well as a Chinese-style archway known as the "Chinatown Gate" at its entrance. Visitors can experience Chinese culture and cuisine while walking through the district's narrow streets and alleys. The district is also known for its lively atmosphere and annual Chinese New Year celebrations.
