Unko Museum Tokyo

Unko Museum Tokyo is a poop-themed attraction on the second floor of DiverCity Tokyo Plaza in Odaiba. Unko is Japanese for poop, and the museum treats it as something cute: its rooms are photo spots and games built around colourful poop figures. The Unko Museum began in 2019 as a temporary exhibition in Yokohama and now has permanent venues in Tokyo, Yokohama, Nagoya and Okinawa. The IT company Kayac plans and produces it with Tanoshii Museum.

The rooms

• My Poop Maker: each visitor makes a poop companion that goes round the museum with them.

• Poop Volcano: poop erupts in front of the Unko Falls.

• Poop-lingual Neon Gate: the word for poop in many languages, in neon.

• Flying Poop: poops large and small fly through the room.

• Dancing Poop Room: a dance with the Poop Dancers.

• Poop Throwing and the Crappy Game Corner: throwing and arcade games.

• Let's Draw Your Poop!: toilets serve as canvases.

• Poop Animal Derby: a race in which visitors cheer for a favourite.

• U.G.A (Unko Graffiti Art): poop street art.

• Limitless Poop: a room in which visitors and poops seem to multiply.

• The Princess of Poop and Lovers' Poop Room: photo sets for dressing up as the princess of the poop world and for couples.

• Poop Mart: a photo spot made up as a shop.

• Shout "Unko": a booth for shouting the word as loudly as possible.

• Hop! Step! Jumpoo! and Bare-handed Poop Block: jumping on colourful poops and catching falling ones.

• Galaxy of Poop: a space-themed room.

The shop sells poop goods available only at the Unko Museum. Seasonal events change part of the content through the year.
